Working Session

This session aims to promote business creation utilizing multi-GNSS by providing a practical forum for discussion from both technological and business perspectives. It will cover “technology trends,” including QZSS (Michibiki), PNT, and terrestrial systems, as well as “business applications” that leverage these technologies, with a focus on commercialization.

The first session will be held in parallel with two tracks—technology and business. Based on the latest developments such as the enhancement of Michibiki’s functions and signal authentication, participants will examine use cases and organize key issues toward commercialization. The second session will further deepen discussions by focusing on either technology and business or specific use cases, also considering integration with terrestrial systems and LEO-PNT.

In the near future, Michibiki will transition to a seven-satellite constellation, entering a new phase in which it will become an independent system capable of providing high-precision positioning. At this major turning point, we believe it is essential to begin creating collaborations from this year onward in order to design and implement new services and businesses centered on positioning information.

The outcomes of this working session will be presented at the MGA General Assembly, scheduled to be held in Nihonbashi in March, and will lead to discussions, collaboration, and implementation within the international community.

Participation in the first working session is also open on a trial basis. We warmly welcome the participation of companies and organizations with an interest in multi-GNSS and next-generation PNT.
